There isn’t too much available on Amazon throughout the weekend, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing. Here are five good Amazon movies from Feb. 20 to 21.

There are a few TV shows available for the weekend, but you may not have that time available. Sometimes, you just have a few hours on your Saturday night, and you want a good movie to pick.

Amazon has you covered through Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Channels. You can always buy or rent on Amazon Video if you’re really pushed, but there’s no need for that this weekend.

Three of the offerings on this list are on Amazon Prime Video. The other two are available via Amazon Channels, and you won’t regret them.

5 good Amazon movies to check out from Feb. 20 to 21

The Rental

We’ll start with the Amazon Channels offerings. The first of the Amazon movies is on SHOWTIME. The Rental stars Alison Brie, Sheila Vand, Jeremy Allen White, and Dan Stevens.

The two couples head on a vacation to what looks to be the perfect holiday rental. Of course, that’s not quite the case. Things start to turn sinister, and it’s soon clear that someone or maybe something is watching them.

Honour

You may have heard the term “honour killings.” That’s something Honour looks into. While the movie is technically a two-part limited series, it dropped on BritBox as a TV movie, so it counts for this purpose.

Keeley Hawes stars as a detective who will do whatever it takes to get justice for a young Muslim woman. This woman just tried t escape an abusive relationship to live with the man she loved, but it ended with her death at the hands of her family.

Catfish

You know about the TV show. Well, before Catfish on MTV, there was a movie. That movie is now on Amazon Prime Video.

Nev Shulman is a New York photographer who receives a Facebook request from Abby, a child he doesn’t know. He accepts the friend request to then end up with an unusually skilled painting based on one of his photos. When he gets to know Abby’s family and falls for her sister Megan, he heads out on a road trip to meet her.

Sonic the Hedgehog

There is no doubt that you need something for the whole family. Amazon movies have you covered. Sonic the Hedgehog is the top pick from family movies for the week.

It follows the little blue hedgehog you’ve come to know and love. He turns to a grown man to help him protect the rings a mad scientist is after. In the wrong hands, the rings could lead to some serious problems for the entire universe.

Bliss

Amazon’s Bliss dropped at the start of the month. If you haven’t got around to watching it yet, now is the time to do it. Even if you have watched it once, why not watch it again? You’ll be amazed by what you spot the second time around.

Owen Wilson and Salma Hayek star in this sci-fi movie that leaves you trying to work out the truth. Which world is real and which one is made up? You’ll head out on a wild journey as you figure it all out.
