Will Judas and the Black Messiah come to Amazon Prime Video?

Judas and the Black Messiah is an extremely important movie for today’s current climate. Will you be able to watch it on Amazon Prime Video?

If you look at what history teaches about the Black Panthers, you’ll get a very one-sided view. What you don’t get a look at is everything the Black Panthers were trying to achieve and the good they did. That’s something Judas and the Black Messiah tries to correct, and does a good job of it.

Not managed to see it yet? You have until March 14 to watch it on HBO Max with just your subscription. After that, it will leave the service but will still be available in theaters. What about after that?

Where will you be able to stream Judas and the Black Messiah in the future? Will it come to Amazon Prime Video?

Judas and the Black Messiah probably won’t come to Amazon Prime Video

There is some bad news. When the movie is ready for streaming after its theatrical run and DVD release, it’s probably not going to come to Amazon Prime Video.

This is a Warner Bros. movie, and they’ve always traditionally gone to HBO. It wouldn’t be surprising if the movie headed to HBO Max again. That will likely happen six to eight months after the theatrical release date.

That doesn’t mean you’ll never get to watch on Amazon Prime Video. Of course, there will be the option to buy or rent through Amazon Video, but what about watching for free with your Prime membership? There’s a chance the movie could arrive in a few years’ time.

Yes, we’ll be waiting for a few years for it to be part of Amazon Prime Video. That’s the minimum!

Watch Judas and the Black Messiah on HBO Max and in theaters right now.
