The Alienist: Angel of Darkness coming to DVD and Blu-ray in May 2021
It’s time to rewatch all episodes of The Alienist: Angel of Darkness without a subscription to anything. The series is on DVD and Blu-ray in May 2021.
The TNT series is one of the strongest on the network. There’s no word on whether another installment is going to happen, but for now, we can be comfortable knowing that we’ll have the full second season of the show on DVD very soon.
The Alienist: Angel of Darkness is heading to DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Pre-orders on Amazon are not yet available, which isn’t surprising considering the release date was only recently confirmed. It should be available to pre-order soon, where you’ll grab the Price Guarantee.
You can already get all episodes on Digital. If you get the Blu-ray, you’ll get the Digital download code, so you may want to hold off if you are planning on buying the physical disc.

What is included in the purchase? You’ll get all eight episodes of the season. That’s pretty standard. There’s no point getting the season without all the episodes, right?
As well as that, there is some bonus content to look forward to. This is the real reason we buy the DVD and Blu-rays rather than getting Digital or even opting for a streaming platform!

They give viewers a chance to delve deeper into the series to look behind the scenes. There’s a lot of work that goes into a period drama.
The second season picks up a year after the first. The trio is trying to put the horrors of the Beecham case in the past, but they’ll be drawn back together with a new mystery. The wife of a Spanish diplomat needs help locating her baby, and when another baby turns up dead, the race is on to find the infant before it’s too late.
