Undone Season 2 release date, cast, trailer, synopsis, and more

We know Undone Season 2 is definitely happening. Now all eyes are on when it’s going to arrive. Here’s what we know so far.

The good news in all this is that the show is still going. The first season came out in September 2019 with the renewal happening two months later. Considering the pandemic, Amazon could have “unrenewed” the show like Netflix did with a few TV shows.

It didn’t. Instead, Amazon has kept its shows going. We just don’t have a lot to go on with most of the shows just yet.

Here’s what we do know about Undone Season 2 so far.

Undone Season 2 release date

We don’t have an official release date just yet. Had it been a normal year last year, we could have likely expected the show around about now, February 2021.

Given the nature of the series, it’s going to take longer than most shows to film and go through post-production. This is a show that’s filmed with the animation drawn over the top of it. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for a release date.

It will probably get a binge-watch release like most other Amazon shows.

Undone Season 2 cast

Rosa Salazar will return as Alma, the woman who started seeing her deceased father in the first season. She was tasked with solving his murder, but it also lead to her helping him change time. At the end of the first season, she waited to see if she had successfully changed time or if it was all part of her imagination.

Bob Odenkirk will likely return as her father, Jacob. That is if Alma was right about changing time. If he doesn’t come back through the cave, he could continue to be part of her imagination.

Constance Marie and Angelique Cabral should return as Camila and Becca respectively. We’ll hopefully also see more of Siddharth Dhananjay as Sam.

Daveed Diggs, Tyler Posey, and Sheila Vand had supporting roles in the first season, but it’s not clear if they’ll be back for the second.

Undone Season 2 trailer

There isn’t a trailer just yet. That’s not surprising considering the show hasn’t finished filming the second season. We’ll likely get a trailer about a month before the release date. We’ll probably get a teaser trailer before then.

Undone Season 2 synopsis

There isn’t a synopsis for Undone Season 2 just yet, but we can look at what to expect. The first season ended with Alma waiting to see if seeing her father was really her time jumping or part of her injury after her car accident.

Alma and Becca both waited, only to be disappointed at sunrise. Alma chose to hang back to collect her thoughts, which is when something happened. It looks like her dad reappeared, but we never got confirmation of that.

The second season should follow many of the same themes of the first season, including mental health and trauma. It should also continue the excellent mix of drama and comedy to tell the story.
