Is a new episode of The Expanse on tonight, Feb. 10?
We’ve spent our Tuesday nights/Wednesday mornings watching The Expanse. Will a new episode air this week after? There’s some bad news, I’m afraid.
There isn’t a new episode of The Expanse tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 10. The episodes would usually drop at midnight GMT, so in North America, we’d get them on Tuesday nights.
The previous episode was the Season 5 finale. That’s why there was so much happening and that major character death—no spoilers, but you can likely guess who it was if you haven’t seen the episode yet.
All 10 episodes of the fifth season are now available to stream in full. Those who have waited until the finale dropped can binge-watch. Don’t forget the aftershow after each episode on the Amazon Prime Video YouTube channel.
Will The Expanse Season 6 happen?
The good news is there will be a continuation of the story. The Expanse Season 6 will follow most of the storyline in Book 6 of the series, and it is going to be the last season of the Amazon series.
This is a good place to end the show, although no major spoilers for those who haven’t read the books. There is a time jump in the seventh book that would make creating the series a little trickier, so it makes sense to bring an end to the show storyline.
Of course, that doesn’t mean the creators will never go back to the show. It may just be in another format if that decision is made.
We don’t know when The Expanse Season 6 is going to happen. For now, you can watch all five current seasons on Amazon Prime Video as much as you want, and this is an excellent show for rewatching.
The Expanse is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
