Flack Season 2 is definitely happening on Amazon Prime Video. The big question is when that will be. Here’s what we know so far.

There is a little bit of good news. We do know that Flack Season 2 is happening. When Amazon saved the series after the abrupt cancellation by Pop TV, it picked up both seasons. You see, the second season had already been filmed before the cancellation decision. It just never got to air on Pop TV.

Yet, UK viewers got the chance to watch it. The decision was very strange, but it won’t be long before it’s available for U.S. viewers.

Here’s what we know about Flack Season 2 so far.

Flack Season 2 release date

What we don’t have yet is a release date for the season. The whole season will likely drop at once, unlike The Boys and The Expanse, so you’ll get to binge-watch it.

Fans were disappointed that the second season didn’t drop at the same time as the first. After all, it’s ready. Well, Amazon likely split it up for two reasons: to create more original content in the drier months due to lack of filming during the pandemic and to create a buzz around the series.

We’ll probably get the second season within six months of the first season being released. So, we’re looking at June 2021 at the latest, but it’ll probably be much sooner.

Flack Season 2 cast

There are a few characters we’ll see in the second season. They’re all our favorites from the first.

  • Anna Paquin as Robyn
  • Sophie Okonedo as Caroline
  • Genevieve Angelson as Ruth
  • Lydia Wilson as Eve
  • Rebecca Benson as Melody
  • Arinze Kene as Sam
  • Marc Warren as Tom
  • Rufus Jones as Mark
  • Andrew Leung as Craig

Of course, there will be a series of guest stars throughout the second season. They include Amanda Abbington as Alexa, John Askew as Darren Barron, Sophia La Porte as Roxy Barron, and Sam Neill as Duncan Paulson.

Daniel Dae Kim is one of the biggest new additions to the season, and he gets a lot of screen time with Lydia Wilson.

Flack Season 2 trailer

Yes, there is a trailer for the second season. While the first part of the trailer seems to overlook everything that happened in the first season finale, the end of it makes it clear that there’s more development for Robyn to come.

Flack Season 2 synopsis

When Deadline initially reported the Season 2 renewal, the following was given as a breakdown of things to come:

"The often-recalcitrant Robyn tries to reconcile her relationships while her family, friends and colleagues, all while her client dilemmas interfere, often by her own doing, with everyone’s lives building to an irreversible apex."

We know that already, right? Here’s the synopsis for the first episode of the season.

"Robyn gets some unexpected news which threatens to derail her very precarious recovery. Caroline receives a surprise visit."
