Is WandaVision on Amazon Prime Video?
WandaVision has received mixed reviews, but it’s certainly worth a binge-watch. Can you watch WandaVision on Amazon Prime Video?
Most of the negative reviews come from those who don’t quite appreciate the classic sitcom feel of the initial episodes. If you haven’t grown up watching the likes of I Love Lucy and Bewitched, I get it. It didn’t feel like a Marvel series.
However, there was clearly something bigger going on. Episode 4 clarified a lot, including when in the MCU timeline the show was set and what had pulled Wanda and Vision into this sitcom-like series.
Now it’s time to binge-watch the first four episodes again. Of course, you’ll then want to keep watching to see how the series wraps up. So, where can you watch the show?
WandaVision isn’t available on Amazon at all
Sadly, there is only one place to watch WandaVision. It’s a Disney Plus Original Series, and that’s the place that you can stream it.
There are very slim chances that the show will head to Amazon Prime Video, even far into the future. Streaming services want to keep their original shows exclusive as much as possible.
However, Disney has been known to license out its content, even when Disney Plus arrived. Some of the Marvel movies are available on Amazon Prime Video with your subscription. So, there is a slim chance, but it’s unlikely.
Will WandaVision come to DVD and Blu-ray?
It’s hard to tell whether there will be a DVD and Blu-ray release. It would make sense to bring the show to physical disc so Marvel fans can add it to their collections. However, the DVD release will mean the show isn’t exclusive to the streaming service yet.
The Disney movies have come to DVD because Disney knows there is a market. We’ll keep an eye out for WandaVision‘s potential release.
WandaVision is now streaming on Disney Plus.
