The episode will officially drop on Wednesday, Jan. 27. However, remember that this is a global original, which means great news for those in North America. The drop is at midnight GMT, which means there’s a strong chance we’ll have the episode by 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

It’s one of those episodes everyone is waiting for. The ending to Episode 8 left us with a little hope, but a lot to be worried about. Naomi had found a way to change the distress call, but it might be too late. Alex is already in a hard burn to her, which means he’s likely to be killed. Bobbie too with her being onboard the Razorback right now.

What to expect on The Expanse Season 5, Episode 9

While Alex flies to Naomi, Camina may also decide to change course. She’s hurting, believing that Naomi is the latest of her friends to die. However, the changed message means that someone is on board Naomi’s ship. Who would want to change the message except Naomi?

Of course, Karal will want to get a message to Marco that things aren’t going as planned. Naomi somehow survived spacing herself.

Could this lead to Filip choosing to turn his back on his dad now? Maybe whatever Marco does in the episode will see Filip switch sides.

Then there’s Earth/Luna. Amos is still looking for a way off Earth to rejoin the Roci. Will he get there once he does manage to get to Luna? It’s probably not going to be that simple.
