Before we get too far into 2021, we need to look back at some of the best Amazon shows from the previous year. 2020 was a bad year, but it did bring some excellent content on Amazon Prime Video.

One of the shows on this list wasn’t actually new in 2020. The newest episodes dropped in December 2019, but it remains one of the most popular TV shows on Amazon Prime Video. Part of that will come from the social media push the show continually gets, but another part will be just because it is a binge-worthy, rewatchable show.

This list is made up of shows that TV Time users watched the most throughout the year. If you haven’t got on this app yet and love TV, you need to do so right now.

5. Hunters

The list starts with a dramedy that dropped in February 2020. It certainly took time for the series to be picked up for a second season, which seems odd when it is on this list of most-watched Amazon shows.

Hunters is set in the 1970s and follows a group of Nazi hunters. Of course, the Nazis in the States are doing everything they can to bring about the Fourth Reich, but will their plans be foiled by the group? On top of that, there’s an FBI agent who just wants to do good in the world but has everyone against her—as a Black, gay woman in the 1970s that probably isn’t surprising.

Al Pacino was the biggest billed star on the series, but it was packed with an excellent cast. We don’t know when Hunters Season 2 will happen yet, but we’re excited for it.
