The 100 Season 7 is among the list of DVD and Blu-ray releases this week

We are ready for a new week of DVD and Blu-ray releases. 2021 is starting off a little quiet with just four releases confirmed right now, but the rest of the month is busy.

There are two TV shows with full seasons releasing on DVD and Blu-ray. The other two releases are movies, offering something for all preferences and needs.

TV shows on DVD and Blu-ray: The 100 Season 7 and Mystery Road Season 2

Let’s start with The 100 Season 7. It’s the final season of the series, bringing 16 episodes to finish off the tale that started with one hundred teenagers being sent to Earth to see if it was livable. Of course, they’re no longer on Earth, after leaving a planet that was about to be completely destroyed in the fifth season finale.

There are usually some bonus features included in The 100 DVD and Blu-ray releases, so look out for them. A Complete Series release should come up soon.

Mystery Road Season 2 is the second release. The Acorn TV Original is set in a remote part of Australia, and this season sees evidence of murder found in an archeological dig. Of course, those running the dig don’t want it shut down, which causes far more problems for everyone than is necessary.

Movie DVD and Blu-ray releases: Love and Monsters and 12 Hour Shift

Love and Monsters is one of the DVD releases for the week. Dylan O’Brien and Jessica Henwick star in this near-future, post-apocalyptic world movie.

Monsters have attacked the Earth in an attempt to destroy all humankind. The humans who have escaped try to find a way to continue life as they know it. For one human, Joel, it’s all about finding his way back to his high school sweetheart in a camp 80 miles away. He will make the dangerous trek for love.

The second movie of the week is 12 Hour Shift, a horror starring Angela Bettis and David Arquette. The year is 1999, and a drug addict nurse and her cousin decide to team together to get a kidney to sell on the black market.

What could possibly go wrong? You’re about to find out!
