Here’s what you can stream on Amazon Prime from Jan. 2 to Jan. 3

It’s the first weekend of 2021, and you’re likely spending it with the family in your little bubble. You’ll want to find something to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

The good news is that plenty arrived on Jan. 1 to watch. There were 76 new titles that joined Prime Video yesterday, so you can slowly work your way through them this weekend.

However, there’s nothing new on Saturday and Sunday. The next set of releases aren’t happening until Jan. 6, with a new episode of The Expanse Season 5 and a couple of other options.

You can turn to Amazon Channels for releases. HBO, STARZ, SHOWTIME, and so many others had big drops yesterday, but some of them also have new content coming today and tomorrow. Here’s what you can watch new between Jan. 2 and 3.

What’s new on Amazon Prime Video Channels this weekend?

We’ll start with HBO, which offers up The High Note. Overall, the movie didn’t do that well. However, there was some well-deserved praise for Tracee Ellis Ross. After years of watching her on black-ishThe High Note makes it clear she needs to star in more.

The 2019 movie Dark Waters comes to SHOWTIME today. Mark Ruffalo stars as a defense lawyer who goes up against a corporation that is polluting a water source. Robert just wants to protect the people who use that water source, but his whole life is soon exposed and it puts everything in jeopardy.

If you’re looking for a TV show to get into, In the Long Run Season 3 premieres on STARZ on Sunday, Jan. 3. The series continues the latest tale of Walter Easmon and his wife Agnes. It’s a fun dramedy starring Idris Elba, with the first two seasons available on the STARZ App right now. The show is getting a weekly release, which is pretty standard for the premium cable network.
