You’ve watched Episode 4, and now you want more. In fact, you feel that need for more. When is The Expanse Season 5, Episode 5 going to be on Amazon Prime Video?
There isn’t too long to wait. The all-new episode will air officially at midnight GMT on Wednesday, Dec. 30. For those in North America, look out for the episode dropping early. If it’s anything like the last two weeks of new releases, we’ll get it at around 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Tuesday, Dec. 29.
Despite this being another holiday week, Amazon is still releasing a new episode. The streamer isn’t affected by lower viewer ratings as much as broadcast networks, so there’s no need to worry about dropping episodes during the holiday weeks.
In fact, we know The Expanse Season 6 is happening. It is the final season, but it’s the show’s choice on this one. We can get behind that knowing the show will end on its own terms and not with that nasty cliffhanger at the end of Season 3!
What to expect on The Expanse Season 5, Episode 5
This episode is going to be a big one. It’s past the halfway mark now.
At the end of the previous episode, there were some major events taking place. One of the biggest was the death of Fred. He’s been a rock for the Roci team for so long, even when we weren’t sure we could trust him. He’s the one that has helped them get out of some of the stickiest situations.
And he certainly knew something about the protomolecule. Now Holden will need to hope that there is something around his office to help him figure out the secret Fred was hiding.
Meanwhile, Mars and Earth will need to combine forces to protect themselves from the Belter resistance led by Marco. Is there a way to take him down safely?
