Little Women is one of 5 must-watch movies on STARZ this Christmas Eve

There are so many excellent movies on streaming services. STARZ is just one of the top picks, especially if you’re looking for older movies to watch with the family. It’s time to look at the five must-watch movies on STARZ for Christmas Eve 2020.

There’s a mixture of genres on this list. Whether you have kids waiting up a little longer (so they don’t get up ridiculously early tomorrow) or you’re wrapping presents while you watch, these are the five must-watch movies on STARZ for the night.

Little Women

While not technically a Christmas movie, it was released in theaters last Christmas. Now Little Women is on STARZ, it’s the perfect time to watch it again.

The story follows the four March sisters as they work their way through the ups and downs life throws at them. We follow them through different time periods to see them as young women and as they grow into adults with careers of their own.

Frozen

Are the kids up? Frozen is the movie to put on for them. Give them some hot chocolate and blankets and they’ll be ready for bed by the end of the movie…or dancing and singing afterward!

The movie offers a great story about sisterly love. It also has some of the greatest side characters going (although nothing as awesome as the Minions or the Penguins). You’ll be able to get a few things done on Christmas Eve without the kids realizing.

Forrest Gump

If you’re looking for a classic, you’ll want to turn to Forrest Gump. Again, it’s not quite a Christmas movie, but that doesn’t stop it being one of the must-watch movies on STARZ this Christmas Eve.

It’s a heartfelt story of a man with learning disabilities. He doesn’t let them stop him in life, whether it’s fighting in the Vietnam War, supporting the end of segregation in schools, and just simply running. Forrest will teach everyone a few lessons.

Mr. Bean’s Holiday

There’s nothing better than Mr. Bean, and you can watch Mr. Bean’s Holiday this Christmas Eve. No, it’s not a Christmas holiday, but it’s something to remind you of the warmth and the ability to travel whenever and wherever you want. Sometimes we need that reminder, especially after this year!

Mr. Bean accidentally separates a father and son while on holiday in France. He spends the rest of the holiday reuniting them.

Edward Scissorhands

The last of the must-watch movies on STARZ this Christmas Eve is Edward Scissorhands. It’s an excellent movie to put on while you wrap gifts and place them under the tree. You can also watch on a mobile device while you’re preparing food for the next day.

It’s another heartfelt story of a boy who is different to all the rest. He’s not quite a real boy and his creator died before giving him hands. At first, his scissor hands are the talk of the town for a good reason. Eventually, the town turns against him. All except one person.
