The series is about a bunch of teenage girls. They are a mixture of 16- and 17-year-olds, and while it does involve a plane crash (of sorts), this isn’t just a LOST reboot with teens. It’s LOST meets Lord of the Flies meets The Society.

Why is the age rating set as it is? It’s mostly linked to the topics within the show. Remember that these are 16- and 17-year-old girls, and they all come from different walks of life. They drink, they smoke, they lash out in anger, they swear, and they even eat edibles.
