Amazon Prime Video is bringing The Expanse Season 5 after each new episode

The Expanse Season 5 is getting a weekly release, which will be disappointing for some. However, the show is bringing twice the content with an aftershow for each episode.

Wes Chatham and The Expanse showrunner Ty Franck will host the series, delving into each of the individual episodes. It will start on Dec. 16, with three episodes dropping for the three episodes that fans can binge-watch.

After this week, you’ll get one new aftershow per week to match the episode. The two will point out some of the Easter eggs in the show, talk about events that happened behind the scenes, and share what was so important about particular moments.

On top of that, there will be guest appearances from some of the actors. Fans will get a chance to hear from the important players in each individual episode.

Great pandemic entertainment to work with The Expanse Season 5

One thing that was disappointing this year was not having NYCC 2020 in person. It would have been wonderful to talk about the season with the cast in the run-up to it.

The aftershow is a great way to make up for that. We get to hear what the cast loved about the season. There’s a chance to hear from the showrunner about the creation of Season 5.

The Boys opted for an aftershow and it was so much fun learning more about the filming and the fun the actors had on set. I’m sure The Expanse‘s aftershow will be much of the same. Instead of having the hosts in a studio, though, they’re recording from their own homes and we’ll see the guest stars drop in from their homes, too.
