Most sold Amazon books last week: Ready Player Two moves up
A look at the most sold Amazon books from Nov. 29
As November moved into December, there was plenty of movement on the list of most sold Amazon books. Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline moved up the list, while The Return by Nicholas Sparks reentered well.
It shouldn’t be surprising to hear that Christmas books are still doing well on the list of most sold Amazon books. Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas reentered the list, while The Polar Express continues to hold onto a place on the list. As we get closer to Christmas, we may see the books drop off, but they’ll be back on the list this time next year.

We can’t ignore the notable books on the list. Ready Player Two is the highly anticipated sequel to Ready Player One, and it has not disappointed. The book moved up two places after an excellent debut last week, claiming the top spot.
The Return by Nicholas Sparks reentered the list well, getting into third place. This could be a sign of the gifts people are getting for Christmas. After all, The Monster At the End of This Book reentered in ninth place, suggesting Christmas gifts for children.
There were five new books on the list this week, with The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy entering well in second place. Also in the Top 10 were Deadly Cross by James Patterson and The Awakening by Nora Roberts.
While Daylight by David Baldacci and The Law of Innocence by Michael Connelly certainly saw big drops losing nine places each, the notable missing book on the list is Where the Crawdads Sings. After two years on the list, it is no longer there. It may return next week as other Amazon books move.
