5 Digital releases are happening on Amazon Video this week

There are five movies currently confirmed for Digital releases this week. It’s time to look at what you’ll be able to get on Amazon Video from Dec. 7 to Dec. 13.

Four of the releases will happen on Dec. 8. They’re movies that have previously been in theaters or got an intentional straight-to-VOD release. One release is on Friday, which is one of those releases adapted for the pandemic.

Honest Thief, Faith Under Fire, and more

On Dec. 8, there’s a mixture of content for all types of movie fans. If you love Liam Neeson, Honest Thief is going to be the movie for you. Neeson plays Tom Carter, a successful thief with $9m from 12 banks in seven states. Nobody has guessed his real identity, and he’s known by the police as the In and Out Bandit.

However, he wants to sort out his life when he meets Annie. The only way to do that is to turn himself over with the hope of getting a reduced sentence. When the agents double-cross him, he needs to get to work on clearing his name of the murder they’ve added to his list of crimes.

Oh, it just so happens that Carter is a former Marine and demolitions expert. C’mon, Neeson never plays an everyday person in these movies!

Kevin Sorbo and Dean Cain are in Faith Under Fire, which focuses on a firefighter who is struggling with the loss of his wife to cancer. He now has to raise his daughter alone, only to learn that she has the same cancer. Is there any hope? Will God be the one who saves her?

One movie on Amazon Video on Dec. 11

On Friday, you can get Archenemy on Digital. Joe Manganiello plays Max Fist, a hero from another dimension who finds himself on Earth. Nobody believes who Max really is, except a teenager named Hamster and his sister, Indigo.

When a drug gang terrorizes an area, the siblings convince Max to take them down. His abilities are soon put to the test, but will things work out in the end?

While the movie is getting a Digital release this week, you’ll have to wait until February for the DVD and Blu-ray release. If you really want to see it right away, this is your chance.
