Will Ammonite come to Amazon Prime Video for free?
Which streaming service will Ammonite come to in the future?
Ammonite is currently one of the big movies everyone is talking about. It’s not got the theatrical release it deserves, but it is heading to some theaters. It’s also out on VOD.
Of course, you’re possibly waiting for it to come to a streaming service. As an Amazon Prime subscriber, you want to know if Ammonite will come to Amazon Prime Video.
The jury is still out, but it’s unlikely that it will come to Amazon Prime Video. This is because the distributing studio with the rights in the U.S. and Canada is NEON. This studio tends to release movies on Netflix after the theatrical release.
However, it is going to depend on the streaming service that wins the rights. We’ll let you know the place it will stream once that is released.
You will be able to buy or rent Ammonite on Amazon Video
The good news is there will be a way to watch Ammonite through Amazon. You’ll just have to wait for the movie to get its digital release.
Right now, you can rent Ammonite through Amazon Video. You’ll get 30 days to start watching and will then have 24 hours once you do start streaming to finish it. Grab the popcorn and watch the movie right away from the comfort of your own home.
Eventually, the movie will be available on Digital and DVD. We don’t have an exact release date yet, but we’re looking at it happening in two or three months’ time. While movies used to come to Digital before DVD, the pandemic has changed things. Most Digital releases happen at the same time as the DVD release, so look out for that this time.
Is it going to be worth the watch? It depends on who you talk to, but most of the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are positive.
Ammonite is currently available to rent on VOD.
