Amazon Prime Video will get one new Amazon Original this week. Sound of Metal is the big release on Dec. 4.

The movie focuses on Ruben, a punk-metal drummer who starts suffering from intermittent hearing loss. This is only going to get worse, and it’s going to lead to the end of his career. When his girlfriend worries about him suffering a drug relapse, she checks him into a sober house for the deaf. This leads to him finding new techniques to use his abilities.
