Sylvie’s Love

The last two must-watch movies on Amazon in December are Amazon Originals. The first stars Tessa Thompson in an epic romance.

She is Sylvie, an aspiring television producer who meets saxophonist Robert, played by Nnamdi Asomugha. The two immediately fall in love, but they’re separated through circumstances. Years later, they finally reunite, but their lives have changed considerably. While their love hasn’t, can they make things work years later?

Is love enough? That’s something this romantic movie will explore.

Yearly Departed

Need a comedy to end the year? Yearly Departed has you covered. it’s a goodbye to the terrible year that 2020 was, with seven outspoken female comedians saying their goodbyes.

Tiffany Haddish, Natasha Rothwell, Rachel Brosnahan, Patti Harrison, Sarah Silverman, Natasha Leggero, and Ziwe will all take to the stage with their own takes. Phoebe Robinson will host.

If there’s only going to be one thing you watch to say goodbye to 2020, make sure it’s Yearly Departed. It’s going to be needed.
