I’m Your Woman

We turn to the first of the Amazon Originals on the list. I’m Your Woman stars Rachel Brosnahan. Oh yes, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel lead is in a vastly different role. It’s time to see her shine in a drama.

Brosnahan plays Jean, the wife of a career criminal. When her husband betrays others, Jean ends up on the run with her infant child. She can only trust one person, her husband’s closest friend. However, when he goes missing, Jean has to turn to his wife.

The two women end up on a journey to remember to get their husbands back. For those looking for thrillers with strong women, this is one of the must-watch movies on Amazon in December.

Check out I’m Your Woman on Dec. 11.

Blackbird

Originally, Blackbird was supposed to be on Amazon Prime Video a few months ago. That didn’t happen for an unknown reason. It’s happening now, though.

Susan Sarandon stars as a terminally ill woman who is ready to end her life. Before she does that, she needs her family together one last time. All she wants is them all in the same house, and for them to support her in this decision.

Not all of them can support her, though. It’s hard to say goodbye to those we love, and this is a heartbreaking but powerful movie about choice, love, and acceptance.

Blackbird is on Amazon Prime Video on Dec. 18.
