Is Thursday Night Football on Thanksgiving 2020?
Can you watch Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime for Thanksgiving 2020?
Thanksgiving is a time for turkey, pie, and football. And with it being Thursday, it means Thursday Night Football, which is on Amazon Prime Video, right? So, can you watch Thursday Night Football on Thanksgiving 2020?
Usually, there would be a game on NBC during the primetime slot on Thanksgiving. This is a game that isn’t shown on Amazon Prime Video. It’s only the TNF games on FOX that air on Amazon for Prime members too.
But, even if it was on Amazon Prime Video, there wouldn’t be anything for Thanksgiving 2020. There isn’t a game tonight at all.
NFL has postponed the primetime Thanksgiving game
It shouldn’t be surprising to hear that something else is delayed during 2020. And yes, it’s all for the same reason: COVID-19.
The NFL announced earlier this week that the primetime game would be postponed to Sunday. This is due to five of the Baltimore Ravens players and four coaches testing positive for the virus.
It is a shame for all, but it’s the best course of action at this time for the safety and health of all.
Will Sunday’s game be on Amazon Prime Video?
The game will take place on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 1:15 p.m. ET instead. You’ll still be able to watch the game on NBC. Will it be on Amazon Prime Video?
If the Thanksgiving game would usually air on Prime then we’d say yet. However, it doesn’t, so this isn’t a game that’s going to come to the streaming service. That means no pre-game coverage either, which is arguably the best part of the Prime lineup on Thursdays.
