Will the Animaniacs reboot come to Amazon Prime Video?
Will the Animaniacs arrive on Amazon Prime Video in the future?
Yakko, Wakko, and Dot are back, along with Pinky and the Brain. It’s time for the Animaniacs reboot, but can you watch it on Amazon Prime Video?
Right now, the Animaniacs are only available to watch on Hulu. All 13 episodes are available to binge-watch, and there will be a second season of another 13 episodes on their way soon. It’s not available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
Does that mean it will never be available?
There are slim chances that the reboot of the animated classic will arrive on Amazon Prime Video as part of your subscription. Hulu is owned by Disney, and it’s highly unlikely that the streaming service will shut down and force the content to move elsewhere.
Of course, Hulu and Amazon could come to some sort of deal for an unexclusive license, but it’s unlikely. Hulu’s content hasn’t moved anywhere in the past, and there’s no need for it to now.
Will the Animaniacs be available to buy on Amazon Video?
What is possible is that the episodes will be released on Digital at some point. This will depend on whether the series comes to DVD and Blu-ray at some point in the future.
Since it’s a Warner Bros. production, there’s a strong chance the show will head to DVD and Blu-ray. This could also mean a Digital release. It wouldn’t be the first time a Hulu series got a DVD and Digital release. The Handmaid’s Tale and Castle Rock have both been released on all formats.
Warner Bros. likes to release content on DVD and Digital. Even Netflix shows like Fuller House and The Kominsky Method have received DVD and Blu-ray releases.
We’ll have to wait and see, though. We’ll be sure to let you know if you can buy Animaniacs on Digital through Amazon Video.
