Dolittle is one of the 5 must-watch movies on Amazon this weekend

Don’t feel like there’s nothing to watch on Amazon this weekend. There are some excellent movies to check out throughout the whole weekend, whether you want comedy or romance. It’s time to look at the five must-watch movies on Amazon from Nov. 14 to Nov. 15.

There are a couple of Christmas movies to check out this weekend. While it may not feel like Christmas yet, this could be the way to get into the spirit of things. There’s also a movie perfect for the whole family and a couple of things for the adults in the house.

Here are our top must-watch movies on Amazon this weekend.

Dolittle

We have to start with the family-friendly movie Dolittle. Robert Downey Jr. steps into the role of the doctor who can speak to animals. He literally communicates with this.

More from Movies on Amazon

Only this time, we don’t just see the animals communicate in English to the doc. We see Downey Jr. communicate through barks, moos, and more. This is such a fun ride for the kids in the house.

You can watch it from Nov. 14 on HBO via Amazon Channels.

12 Pups of Christmas

Need a Christmas movie? The next two on this list have you covered, and both are available on Amazon Prime Video for free from Sunday, Nov. 15.

Martin is struggling to keep his dog GPS locator company open for business and needs new hire, Erin, to save his bacon. The way to do that is to find homes for 12 puppies that have been left with him after a photoshoot. Along the way, the two find positive traits in each other.

Will they find love with each other as well as homes for the puppies?

Christmas Crush

The other Christmas movie is Christmas Crush starring Cindy Sampson and Robin Dunne. Addie wishes that her neighbor would fall in love with her, not expecting it to happen. Well, Sam isn’t the one who falls in love with her like she wanted. Her other neighbor, Pete, falls in love iwth her instead.

Addie needs Sam’s help to get Pete to step away. Can they break the spell before Christmas or is Pete always going to be a problem? It’s a lesson in being careful what you wish for.

Cry-Baby

STARZ has you covered for the next movie. Cry-Baby stars Johnny Depp as a juvenile delinquent. A prim schoolgirl falls in love with him, but it’s completely against her mother’s wishes and goes against everything her friends think is right.

Will she follow her heart? What if she does? What happens to her and her family if she goes against the status quo?

There’s plenty of music, singing, and dancing in this if you want something similar to Greece.

The Dictator

Finally, it’s time for a comedy for the adults. Sasha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator is now on Amazon Prime Video. Cohen plays a dictator of a fictional country who ends up having to navigate the United States as a nobody.

Can he get the imposter who has taken his place? Will he remain in control of his country? Can he prevent democracy? That’s the aim of the game!
