4. Can Maeve finally stand up to Vought?

Maeve is a tricky character. She doesn’t agree with everything that is going on, but she’s terrified to rock the boat. This isn’t about losing Vought’s support, but about Homelander killing the people she loves. She knows what can happen if she gets on the wrong side of Homelander.

That is until recently. With Elena gone seemingly for good, Maeve now has to deal with her role in that. Her decisions not to stand up against Homelander have cost her everything.

She joined Kimiko and Starlight in taking Stormfront down. She was willing to leak the video from the plane wreckage to get Homelander to step back. There’s a chance we’ll finally see her stand up to everything that Vought is in The Boys Season 3. It’s time for her to really stand by Starlight.

3. What’s next for the Church of the Collective?

Now we move onto the Church of the Collective. It’s hard to see where this storyline will go in The Boys Season 3 as it’s not part of the source material. However, it’s certainly been an interesting one for the show.

The Church has a problem on its hands. The leader, Adrian, has been killed by the head-exploding Supe. This was just after The Deep was kicked out for being “toxic,” and it’s not clear if anyone knows that The Deep was kicked out.

We could see The Deep and Eagle the Archer join together to take over the Church of the Collective and change it again.
