It’s a quiet release on Amazon Video this week, Sept. 29

We’re into the last few days of September. Despite theaters starting to open, the Digital releases in the week remain quiet. What is coming to Amazon Video this week?

There isn’t much to look forward to this week. In fact, there’s just one release on Sept. 29, and it’s a release that is straight to DVD, Blu-ray, and Digital. There is hope that there will be something more coming in future weeks.

More from Movies on Amazon

As more movies head to theaters, we’ll start to see new Digital and DVD releases. It’s all just a matter of time.

What’s new on Amazon Video on Sept. 29?

As mentioned, there’s just one new release planned for this week. We could see a change next week as there have been in previous weeks, but at the time of writing this, there’s just the one release.

Welcome to Sudden Death is the movie to look forward to. Michael Jai White stars in a story that sees a basketball game turn into a hostage situation when there’s a tech-based terrorist attack. White is one of the security guards tasked with protecting the innocent lives, and it’s personal for him when his daughter is there, too.

It’s a sequel to the 1995 Jean-Claude Van Damme movie Sudden Death.  The sports action thriller was full of intense action and suspense, and this sequel promises to offer much of the same.

This will hopefully start to pick up in the coming months when it comes to Digital releases. We’ll get through this!
