Amazon Prime Video has something amazing in store. “Welcome to Blumhouse” is coming in October, bringing four new horror movies with it.
All four movies will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. They’re dropping throughout the month, so you’re ready for Halloween when you want to watch them the most. Here’s a look at all four Welcome to Blumhouse movies coming in October 2020.
The Lie
The Lie is the first of the four movies heading our way, and includes a star of a popular Amazon Original series. Mireille Enos (Hanna) plays the mother to Joey King’s teenage character. Peter Sarsgaard stars as the father in the story.
It’s based on the movie Wir Monster, and focuses on a young girl who kills her best friend on impulse. The parents try to cover up her actions, leading to a web of complicated lies. The question is whether this teenager is willing to kill again. Is anyone safe?
The Lie is heading to Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Releasing on the same day is Black Box starring Mamoudou Athie, Phylicia Rashad, Amanda Christine, Tosin Morohunfola, Charmaine Bingwa, and Troy James. Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour directed the movie and co-wrote the teleplay with Stephen Herman.
Black Box is about a single father who loses his memory after a car accident, an accident that also kills his wife. He goes through experimental treatment that leads to him questioning who he really is.
Black Box is available to stream on Oct. 6.
Nocturne
Welcome to Blumhouse continues the following week, starting with Nocturne, starring Sydney Sweeney, Madison Iseman, Jacques Colimon, and Ivan Shaw. Zu Quirke wrote and directed the movie.
In this one, a timid music student starts to outshine hermore accomplished twin sister at an elite arts academy. However, this is only possible thanks to a mysterious notebook that belonged to a recently dead classmate. What is the power of the notebook?
Nocturne is available to stream on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Evil Eye
Finally, we turn our attention to a movie that Quantico‘s Priyanka Chopra Jonas has executive produced, among others. Sarita Choudhury, Sunita Mani, Omar Maskati, and Bernard White star in Evil Eye.
When a woman finds romance in what seems to be a perfectly normal man, things take a turn for the worse. Her mother is sure that this new boyfriend is someone connected to her own terrifying past. Will her daughter listen to her before it’s too late?
Evil Eye is available on Oct. 13 on Amazon Prime Video.
