Enola Holmes is the latest movie to come to Netflix. It was one of the most highly anticipated movies of the month, but will you be able to get it on DVD and Blu-ray.
It’s often hard to tell with Netflix movies. Most of the time, they don’t come to DVD and Blu-ray. There’s just no point in Netflix releasing the movies on DVD and Blu-ray, keeping as much as possible exclusive to the streaming service. This is likely the way things will go with this period-set murder mystery.

But there are times that movies and Netflix TV shows are released on DVD and Blu-ray. We just have to look at the likes of The Last Kingdom and Fuller House.
Releases happen because of the production studios. Since Warner Bros. Studios did Enola Holmes, it’s possible that it will eventually become available on DVD and Blu-ray. Warner Bros. likes to release its content on physical disc. It’s also worth pointing out that the movie was originally slated for a theatrical release, but the coronavirus put a halt on those plans.
We’re looking at next year at the earliest, if it does come to DVD and Blu-ray, though.
Is Enola Holmes going to be worth the wait?
Milly Bobby Brown stars as the titular character, younger sister to Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and Mycroft (Sam Claflin). There’s no doubt it’s an excellent cast, with Helena Bonham Carter added in as Enola’s wild but loving mother.
Critics certainly believe it’s going to be worth the wait. It’s already Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with an 88% score. Audiences haven’t had the chance to rate it as of writing this.
