One new book joined the list of most read Amazon books from Sept. 6 to 12

There’s very little movement once again on the list of most read Amazon books. Only one new book joined the list from Sept. 6 to 12, and there was little movement elsewhere.

The new book is Louise Penny’s All the Devils Are Here. it’s the 16th book in the Chief Inspector Gamache Mystery series, this time with the Gamaches gathering for family dinner on the first night in Paris. They’re visiting Stephen Horowitz, Armand’s godfather. When Stephen is knocked down and critically injured, Armandis sure that it wasn’t an accident. He will stop at nothing to get to the truth. Of course, that means unraveling secrets about Stephen’s past that could destroy everything.

More from Amazon Books

The biggest mover on the list was When We Believed in Mermaids by Barbara O’Neal, losing three places. It drops into 20th place, but this doesn’t mean it won’t be on the list next week. Nor does it mean it will never come back.

Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson lost two places on the list. One of those places was to Sanderson’s The Way of Kings. The other was the knock-on effect of the new book on the list. Honeysuckle SeasonThe Last of the Moon Girls, and The Sandman all lost a place each.

As for the Top 10, there was very little movement at all. The Harry Potter books continue to take up the majority of the list, with Chamber of Secrets moving up a place to knock The Guest List by Lucy Foley into 10th place and Half-Blood Prince gaining a place to knock Where the Crawdads Sing down a post.
