There is a lot to break down after The Boys Season 2, Episode 4. There are certainly plenty of questions. We hope some of those questions will be answered in Episode 5.

The biggest question right now is when we’ll be able to watch The Boys Season 2, Episode 5 on Amazon Prime Video. What time will it be released at the end of the week?

Amazon’s official release date is Friday, Sept. 18. We would usually expect it to drop at midnight. However, global Amazon Originals tend to drop at midnight UK time. That means those in North America are often able to get it early.

Fans shared that Episode 4 dropped earlier than expected. Many on the east coast were watching it at 7 p.m., which we had suggested would likely be possible. You’ll want to check from 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT on Thursday, Sept. 17 for The Boys Season 2, Episode 5.

What to expect in the new episode

Titled “We Gotta Go,” this episode will see Butcher head to family for some help. He’s found Becca, but she doesn’t want to leave Ryan behind. Nor does she want to lead Ryan to danger. So, she’s decided to stay where she is, even though it means Homelander can get to them. Chances are that’s going to change at some point!

Butcher pays a visit to his aunt, who is currently looking after the dog he and Becca had. This dog is part of the family in the graphic novels, so I’ve been waiting for him to pop up in the show.

While Butcher’s aunt looks like she belongs in the suburban lifestyle, that couldn’t be further from the truth. She is ready to take on the Supes.

The Boys Season 2, Episode 5 will be on Amazon Prime Video by midnight local on Friday, Sept. 18.
