There are high chances you’re turning to Amazon Video to keep yourself occupied right now. With movie theaters still closed and a handful of movies being released to rent on VOD right now, it’s hard to find something to watch.

Not much is releasing on Digital this week, July 27 to Aug. 2. That doesn’t mean you’re completely on your own.

There could be more added during the week. For example, Babysplitters was set for Digital release after publishing last week’s post.

Deep Blue Sea 3

If you like water-based movies that involve the wildlife being scary versions of themselves, you’ll want to check out Deep Blue Sea 3The Originals‘s Nathaniel Buzolic and American Sniper‘s Emerson Brooks star in this movie about a marine biologist and her team heading to a remote island surrounded by sharks.

Great whites come to the island every year to give birth. This marine biologist wants to see how climate change has affected the sharks, which turns out to be in more radical ways than initially expected. What happens when the sharks decide to attack?

Yes, God, Yes

Prefer a dramedy? Natalia Dyer stars in Yes, God, Yes, about a midwestern teen who struggles to find a balance between her adolescent urges and her strict Catholic upbringing. Alice gets into a heated online chat, where she learns all about masturbation and that leads to her internal conflict.

It’s a humorous coming-of-age tale, as Alice enrolls herself into a religious retreat as a way to rid herself of the urges. However, she ends up on a journey of searching different perspectives.

You Should Have Left

Finally, there’s a movie starring Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried. You Should Have Left is about Theo and Susanna Convoy who are struggling to keep their relationship going because of secrets and trauma from the past.

When the two and their daughter Ella head to a vacation home, they hope to reunite. Instead, they find themselves in a home with an evil power that neither of them know. Those who love supernatural horror movies will need to check this out.

The movie is also on DVD and Blu-ray this week.

Everything is released on July 28.
