Why you need The Terror: Infamy

The second season of The Terror brought to light many of the horrors of the Japanese internment camps. While there was a supernatural element to the story, the internment camps were the real horror of the series. It’s put a light on just how bad American history is, but these bad elements are often covered up and forgotten about.

Rather than white-washing the series, The Terror opted for authentic casting. And it certainly is one of the greatest things about the show.

Like Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, the writers of The Terror: Infamy haven’t let us forget it. It told the real stories, with George Takei involved in the production, who was able to bring his own experiences in the camps to the series.

On top of that, there’s the Japanese mythology. We get so much of Western mythology, but it’s important to understand and experience the mythology of other cultures. If that’s a passion of yours, you’ll want to check out this series.
