Absentia Season 3 and more coming to Amazon Prime Video this week

Absentia Season 3 is the highly-anticipated new release on Amazon Prime Video this week

We’re heading into a new week. While there isn’t that much new on Amazon Prime Video from July 13 to 17, there is one highly anticipated release.

This week will see three new additions to the streaming service. Two of them are movies at the start of the week. You’ll then need to wait until the end of the week for the most highly anticipated addition to the service for the whole month.

The first movie on the list is a biopic. Shakuntala Devi: The Human Computer stars Vidya Balan as Shakuntala Devi. Devi was also known as “The Human Computer,” and this movie tells her story.

You can also stream the 2019 movie The Weekend. Follow a down-on-her-luck comedian who decides to go on a vacation. Things get a little awkward when her ex and his new girlfriend show up and disrupt our comedian’s plans. Sasheer Zamata and Tone Bell star in the movie.

Both of these movies are available to stream on July 15, according to the list that Amazon sent us.

Of course, you’re looking forward to the biggest release of the week. Absentia Season 3 is heading to Amazon Prime Video on July 17.

The third season sees Stana Katic’s Emily just days away from her suspension rom the FBI ending. She’s been focused on being a good mom to her son, but she is ready to return to work. Things may be a little derailed when she’s pulled into an international criminal organization’s plans.

What to look forward to on Amazon Prime Video

While these are great additions, there is still a variety of content coming to Amazon Prime Video in July 2020. Here are the biggest additions to look forward to.

• Animal Kingdom Season 4 (July 29)
