Most sold nonfiction Amazon books last week: A new top spot
There’s a new book at the top of the list of most sold nonfiction Amazon books
While the list of most read Amazon books barely changed last week, the list of most sold nonfiction Amazon books certainly saw movement. There’s a new book at the top of the list, along with plenty of movement elsewhere on the list.
It’s not surprising this list sees more movement than the other. The same thing happens with fiction books. The most read list focuses on Kindle Unlimited and Audible purchases. Amazon can’t track the physical books you’re reading at home. Meanwhile, the purchases are based on physical books as well.

After reentering the list during the previous week, The Room Where It Happened by John Bolton jumped 16 places on the list last week to take over the top spot. It knocked both White Fragility by Robin J. Diangelo and How to Be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi down a spot each.
Other books focused on race and the past also dropped further down the list. Mary L. Trump, PH.D’s book Too Much and Never Enough entered the list in fourth place. The book is a look at President Donald J. Trump, including the toxic family that created him. Mary Trump is the president’s only niece and she isn’t afraid to speak out about the negativity.
Further down the list, I’m Your Emotional Support Animal by Adam Carolla entered the list for the first time. The book is a look at the new no-joke culture that focuses on being woke.
As well as the 16-place gain, there was plenty of movement elsewhere on the list. Me and White Supremacy by Layla F. Saad saw the largest drop, losing 14 places, while The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander dropped nine places. Meanwhile, The Color of Law by Richard Rothstein gained four places, just missing out on the Top 10.
