For a second week in a row, the Amazon books moved between themselves

The list of most read Amazon books remains mostly the same for a second week in a row. While there was some movement between June 14 and 20, it was books moving between themselves.

This isn’t all that uncommon. Remember that this list is made up of those reading through Kindle Unlimited and listening through Audible. It includes all U.S. accounts, and there are many people who will reread books rather than start a new one. Like with TV shows, they don’t want to leave the world, or they want to see if there’s anything they missed.

More from Amazon Books

With that in mind, it shouldn’t be too surprising that the Harry Potter books remain among the most popular books on the list. The Order of the Phoenix gained two spots, taking over the top spot once more. In fact, the top three spots on the list were taken up by The Boy Who Lived, with the Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes losing two places.

The rest of the list involved books moving between themselves. The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes saw the highest climb, gaining three spots to get back into the Top 15. Meanwhile, When We Believed in Mermaids by Barbara O’Neal lost two places, seeing the joint-largest drop with The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

It will be interesting to see if there’s any movement this week on the list.
