If you’re in the mood for a movie tonight, you can stream 7500. The Joseph Gordon-Levitt movie is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The movie is here a day earlier than expected. It was originally supposed to stream on Friday, but Amazon opted to observe Juneteeth in light of the Black Lives Matter protests. Instead of pushing the movie back to the weekend, it was brought forward a day. It would have been worth the wait, though.

7500 is an Amazon Studios movie, which means it’s remaining on Amazon Prime Video forever—at least until Amazon disappears, which doesn’t look to be happening any time soon.

What is 7500 about?

Before you start watching a movie, you want to know if it’s going to be for you. Sometimes, it’s enough to know who’s starring, but that’s not the case for everyone. However, if you are a fan of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, you’re going to want to check this out regardless of whether the movie plot sounds like something for you or not.

7500 sees Gordon-Levitt star as Tobias, a soft-spoken co-pilot who ends up being the only person who can pilot the plane when hijackers storm the cockpit. He needs to make a decision whether to follow the hijackers’ orders to protect the passengers on the plane or hope that he can land the plane safely to save as many lives as possible.

It’s not an easy decision. While the passengers need to do what they can to protect themselves, this young co-pilot is left with lives in his hands wondering what he should do next.

It’s certainly a movie for those who love to be taken on a thrilling ride. Gordon-Levitt’s character faces death in a way none of his characters have faced before.
