Pixomondo shows us how The Hunt VFX were done

It’s always intriguing to see how much work is put into a movie, especially one as graphic and gory as the likes of The Hunt. Pixomondo has given us a brief look at how everything happened.

Pixomondo was the company behind The Hunt VFX graphics. With Johnny Gibson and Ed Hawkins in the driving seat, the VFX help to bring the whole movie to life. They add a dash of realism to the scenes, making us recoil and cringe throughout the movie.

The breakdown of the scenes is only one-and-a-half-minutes long, but it offers enough to show just how moments are broken down. Those that you think will involve some sort of blood pack certainly don’t. Or those where you think it’s a dummy on the ground opt for the graphics on the real actors to make the situation look much more real than ever before.

And it goes to show just how far VFX has come throughout the years. It’s just a reminder of why Upload on Amazon Prime Video couldn’t work until now. Technology has advanced to the point where the VFX can look better than blood packs and dummies.
