The most sold Amazon books from May 31 to June 6

The Hunger Games prequel held the top spot on the list of most sold Amazon books from May 31 to June 6. However, four new books made it to the list. Here’s a breakdown of the Top 20 for the week.

Two of the new books claimed top spots on the list. They were also the only two new books on the list of most read Amazon books from the week. Nora Roberts’s Hideaway and Michael Connelly’s Fair Warning joined the list in third and fourth place respectively. This did mean Little Fires Everywhere dropped a place on the list.

The other two new books were further down the list. Nothing More Dangerous by Allen Eskens joined the list in 15th place. The Henna Artist By Alka Joshi joined the list in 20th place, making it the first time on the list despite the book being out since March 3, 2020.

Brave Girl, Quiet Girl by Catherine Ryan Hyde was the biggest mover down on the list for the week, dropping eight places after debuting in the Top 10 last week. Normal People by Sally Rooney lost five places, also dropping out of the Top 10.

At the same time, The Hunter by L.J. Shen gained nine places, making it the biggest mover overall. It’s into the Top 10, but will it remain there next week?

The next week’s list is going to be extremely interesting. With the Black Lives Matter movement, more people are looking for books to learn about Black and Indigenous people. Our list is mostly about fiction, so it may not change.

This week, we’ll take a look at the non-fiction list, which has already seen a huge change as more people learn about white fragility and learn how to have difficult conversations. That’s likely to change next week even more.
