The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is new on the list of most read Amazon books

We’re into a new week of most read Amazon books. Throughout the last week of May, the Hunger Games prequel entered well on the list. Meanwhile, Little Fires Everywhere saw a fall. Here’s a look at the list from May 24 to 30.

The Top 3 didn’t change at all, which isn’t all that surprising. As people remain at home, they’re going to turn to the books they’ve come to know and love. There will also be many parents spending time with their children by reading their favorite childhood books.

However, there is movement further down the list. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes was the only new book on the list, entering in fourth place. It’s not a surprise considering the positioning it held on the list of most sold Amazon books during the previous week.

It wasn’t good news for Little Fires Everywhere, which saw the biggest drop on the list during the week. Losing six places, it dropped out of the Top 10 for the first time since the show aired on Hulu.

Walk the Wire saw the second-biggest drop, losing five places but just holding onto a place in the Top 10. Camino Winds dropped out of the Top 10, losing three places. In fact, the bottom half of the list is full of books moving downward.
