Amazon is adding more than 35 movies to Prime Video today

37 new movies and shows are on Amazon Prime Video on June 1

It’s the first of the month, which means the big drop is happening. Amazon tested out the end of the month for a while, but it didn’t work out. It’s better to give Prime Video subscribers something big at the start of the month to stream.

June 1 sees the addition of 37 new movies and shows. The shows are the first seasons of some big releases through Amazon Channels. If you want to watch the rest of the seasons, you’ll need to sign up for the respective Amazon Channels add-ons.

SHOWTIME has a lot to offer. The L Word Season 1 and the first season of its spin-off are now available on Amazon Prime Video for free. This is for a limited time offer.

You can also watch the first season of Liar from Sundance Now. This is just in time for the second season to premiere later this week.

What about the movies? There’s plenty of excellent movies on offer for all. If you have children in the house, look out for How to Train Your Dragon and Shrek Forever After. You just can’t go wrong with these animated family movies.

Those who love a classic movie will want to turn to Dirty Dancing. The 1987 film is available with your Prime membership. The 2004 sequel is also available, but that just wasn’t as great.

The 1974 Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell is also available. If you’re interested in a comedy, Grown Ups is streaming with your Prime membership.
