Wood plays an immature man named Norval Greenwood, who visits a remote coastal cabin belonging to his father, who he hasn’t seen in more than 30 years. Much to Norval’s dismay, he quickly learns that his dear old dad is a massive jerk. As Norval desperately seeks a way to get through to his disgruntled father, he must contend with demons, both real and make-believe.
The film is rated R for intense, grisly violence and graphic nudity, so it might not make the best film for family movie night.
