Will Scoob! head to Amazon Prime Video in the future?

Scoob! is a great addition to the world of Scooby-Doo, especially for the kids. Will you be able to put it on Amazon Prime Video over and over again?

Critics can say what they want, I adored Scoob! It was an adorable addition to the world of the Scooby Gang and I have two kids who will want to watch it over and over again. Will that be possible with Amazon Prime Video for free?

Sadly, it’s not likely. Scoob! is a Warner Bros. movie. Considering WarnerMedia is bringing the HBO Max streaming service, we’ll likely see the movie head there. Even if it doesn’t go there, it’s going to head to HBO instead, which means HBO Max will stream it too. This will probably happen in six to eight months.

There is some good news as a Prime member. You can still currently get HBO as an Amazon Channel add-on. HBO Max isn’t going to be part of that. Not right away, anyway. It doesn’t look like it’s a streaming service that will be available through Amazon Channels in the near future, either.

However, due to the way the movie has been released, there are high chances that you bought it when it was available on Friday. There are only some oddballs (like my husband) who would prefer to rent it and then wait for the DVD release with a Digital code. Yeah, really!

If you purchased the movie on Amazon Video on May 15 (or even after), you get it to keep. You can stream it as much as you want. That’s going to make the kids feel better about lockdown right now.

It’s certainly worth the purchase. It’s cute with some great humor for kids and adults.
