It’s time to join the Scooby Gang on another mystery. This time they’re stopping the “dogpocalypse.” When will Scoob! be on DVD and Blu-ray?

Scoob! is the latest movie involving Mystery Inc. It’s time to get a little backstory, a new adventure, and the “dogpocalypse.” The question for many is when Scoob! will be on DVD and Blu-ray.

This isn’t going to be easy to work out. Let’s start by saying that Scoob! is out on Digital right now. Instead of pushing the release for when the movie theaters are back open, Warner Bros. opted to release it on Digital for families at home to enjoy right away. This is great, but it does lead to questions about the release of the DVD and Blu-ray.

Usually, there’s a 90-day exclusivity window in the movie theaters. There are times that movies are out earlier than that, but for the most part, we’re waiting at least three months from the theatrical release. If this was a normal release, I’d say mid-August 2020 for the DVD release.

Warner Bros. may choose to release Scoob! on DVD and Blu-ray with that same time frame. It would make sense to encourage renting on Digital first. However, the studio may need to release on DVD and Blu-ray early to make the most money.

It’s not surprising that Warner Bros. opted for the digital release, and not to keep parents happy. The movie was originally set to release in September 2018 but was pushed to May 2020. There’s no way it could be pushed further.
