Adam Sandler’s Jack and Jill hits Amazon Prime Video this weekend. Find out what else to watch while you’re relaxing at home!

Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot coming to Amazon Prime Video the weekend of May 9 and 10. The only new updates to the catalog is the 2011 Adam Sandler movie, Jack and Jill, and the first episode of Regular Heroes.

For diehard Sandler fans, that might be good news, but most critics and audiences widely panned Jack and Jill. That said, if you’re in the mood for a comedy, Jack and Jill might hit the sweet spot. The film follows ad executive Jack, who dreads the holidays because it is when his twin sister Jill makes her annual visit. Sandler plays both characters.

The two get off on the wrong foot, and Jack is eager for the visit to end, but then Al Pacino shows up and starts to crush on Jill. Jack realizes he might have to put up with her for a while if he wants to get on Pacino’s good side.

More from Movies on Amazon

The first episode of Regular Heroes is a new series focused on the frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, as so many make huge sacrifices to keep people safe. The episode will be available on Prime U.S., Canada, UK, and Australia now. Everywhere else will need to wait until May 12.

Otherwise, we recommend checking out Greg Daniels’s new sci-fi comedy series Upload, and Amazon has already renewed the series for a second season, so you don’t have to worry about it getting canceled out of the blue! Plus, Daniels’s previous credits include The Office, so you should be confident in his handling of comedy.

The 2019 movie starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson, The Hustle, also arrived on Amazon Prime Video this week. If you haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, now is a perfect time.

Additional new entries to the streaming catalog from the week include The Goldfinch, Valley Girl, and a Jimmy O. Yang comedy special.

What to look forward to:

  • Seberg – May 15
  • The Last Narc Season 1 – May 15
