There was a little movement on the list of most read Amazon books from April 26 to May 2. David Baldacci and Stephen King had new novels make the list.

There wasn’t too much movement at the top of the list of most read Amazon books between April 26 and May 2, but there was plenty towards the bottom. It’s time to look back at the list of books readers on Kindle Unlimited and Audible chose.

Two new novels made the list during the week, both of which were on the most sold books the previous week. One of those was Stephen King’s If It Bleeds, which entered in 13th place. It seems fitting considering the black cat on the front of the cover. It also sits next to The Stand, which remains on the list.

More from Amazon Books

David Baldacci had the other new book on the list, entering in fifth place. Walk the Wire is the latest from the author and it’s not surprising that fans quickly grabbed it.

While the Top 5 remained the same, we saw some movement on the rest of the book. Thanks to Walk the Wire entering well, the rest of the Top 10 moved at least one place down. One novel lost two places.

Dean Koontz saw the largest movement, losing four places on the list. Harlan Coben’s The Boy from the Woods saw the second-largest drop, losing three places and being knocked to the last place on the list. There was only one book to move up the list, which was Frank Herbert’s Dune.
