Birds Of Prey And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn is quite a mouthful of a title, so it’s not surprising that most people have shortened it to just Birds of Prey. You can pre-order on Amazon right now, ready for the May 12 release date. It’s out on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K, bringing combo packs for those who want to wait for the Digital codes.

Of course, the movie is already out on Digital for those who just can’t wait. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the movie was quickly released to make sure fans had a chance to grab it while in quarantine. However, the plan was always to keep the DVD and Blu-ray release to the usual release timeframe.

A word of warning for those who are waiting for the physical copy. While you can order with two-day shipping, Amazon is putting the focus on getting essential items out first. It’s not clear how this is effecting the DVD purchases.

Warner Bros. will still want to respect the 90-day theatrical window. The coronavirus has just meant a slight change due to the theaters being closed. However, instead of releasing all movies direct to Digital, many movies have had their release dates pushed back.

Birds of Prey is certainly a movie worth waiting for. It’s a chance for Harley Quinn to step out on her own with a group of strong women by her side. She’s broken up with Joker, but that means a big crime boss is now after her. Can she protect herself?
