The last day of the month may not bring the chance to socialize with friends, but it does bring the opportunity to get new movies on DVD and Blu-ray.

While we can’t socialize with friends right now, there are still ways to be entertained. Movies and TV shows are certainly one of those ways. The great news is there are some excellent DVD and Blu-ray releases on Mar. 31.

These movies and shows will be harder to get a hold of, but not impossible. These are the four releases you’ll want to pay attention to this week.

Mr. Robot Season 4

For four seasons, we followed the socially anxious computer programmer, Elliot Alderson. It was a chance to see one man moonlights as a hacker and the trouble that can bring. The fourth season is the last, bringing a full end to the story, and now you get the chance to own it on DVD and Blu-ray.

The great thing about this DVD and Blu-ray release is that it comes with Mr. Robot: The Complete Series. If you haven’t got previous seasons, now is your chance to watch from start to finish with all the bonus features.

The Purge Season 2

You know what happens during Purge Night. There are multiple movies and you have the first season of the series. But what about between Purge Nights? What happens if something goes wrong on the night? What happens when someone has a hit put out on them? What happens when someone gets a taste for killing?

We get to see the government that created the Purge on The Purge Season 2. We get a chance to see the people who run it. More importantly, we get to see the conspiracies and illegal activities that happen during the night.

Coda

Patrick Stewart and Katie Holmes star in Coda, a movie about a successful classical piano master who returns once more to perform. However, his wife’s death has left him with stage fright and he’s unable to perform, destroying his reputation.

Music critic Helen Morrison decides to help him regain his reputation. That involves a trip to the Swiss Alps, where he listens to another pianist and gains confidence in and inspiration for his own abilities.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

There’s no doubt that the final movie in the Skywalker story is something many fans want to get on DVD and Blu-ray. Even if you didn’t fully enjoy the movie, there’s something about having a complete collection, right? I get it! I didn’t like Game of Thrones Season 8 but I still have the series on DVD and Blu-ray.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is available on Mar. 31 on DVD and Blu-ray. It gives us the showdown between Rey and Kylo Ren.

Of course, the people behind the movie say that this is the end. However, we know that movie studios don’t like giving up a successful franchise. There may be another trilogy in a few years. For now, it’s the end.
