Digital releases to get this week on Amazon Video
March 17 sees the release of three movies on Digital. Here’s what you can get on Amazon Video tomorrow while you’re stuck indoors.
If you’re like me, your kids are at home and you’re stuck inside for some time. That means you want to find something to do, and watching movies is certainly a fun activity for all. But you want something new. There are three Digital releases happening on Mar. 17, and you can get them on Amazon Video.
The Dustwalker

The first is one that is also coming to DVD and Blu-ray on the same day. The Dustwalker stars Jolene Anderson as Sergeant Joanne Sharp. When she returns to her isolated Australian town to help her sister, a meteorite flashes through the sky. All of technology fails and people turn on each other.
This isn’t just a meteorite, though. Joanne learns that it’s an alien invasion with a parasite released into the world. She needs to stop the attack before the entire world is destroyed.
Cats
If you missed it in the theaters (either accidentally or on purpose), you may be happy to hear that you can get Cats on Amazon Video on Mar. 17. With an all-star cast, this should have been a huge success. Instead, it was slated by critics and audiences alike. However, there is a chance you’ll love it for Idris Elba and Dame Judy Dench.
You can buy it on Amazon Video tomorrow. If you only want to rent it, you’re waiting another few weeks. You’ll have to wait until April to get it on DVD and Blu-ray.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
The third Digital release is Star Wars Episode IX. The Rise of Skywalker brings an end to the current trilogy. It’s supposed to be the end of the Skywalker story altogether, but never say never, right?
Regardless of what it’s meant to be and what it becomes, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker focuses on the rise of The First Order once more. However, the Resistance fighters that still remain will stop at nothing to take down Kylo Ren and his Knights of Ren. For Rey to succeed, she’ll need to face a past she never knew she had to deal with.
You’ll need to wait two more weeks for Star Wars Episode IX to come to DVD and Blu-ray.
