Will My Spy stream on Amazon Prime Video in the future?

My Spy is out in theaters now. The question for many is whether it will be on Amazon Prime Video to stream for free. What are the chances?

While My Spy isn’t out in theaters until April, you may be getting ready to see it. While it’s not performing well with critics, it’s praised for its LGBTQ+ representation in a kid’s movie. You know you need to see it for that to support it. But if you can’t get to theaters, you’ll want to stream it. Will My Spy come to Amazon Prime Video?

It’s hard to say right now. As an STXFilms movie, it’s likely to head to Hulu. That was the case with UglyDolls and will be the case with Hustlers, I Feel Pretty, and The Upside, as confirmed earlier this year.

However, some of these movies have headed to Amazon Prime Video, too. It’s often depended on the production and distribution studios. There could be a chance that My Spy heads to Amazon Prime Video for free in the future, but I wouldn’t solely rely on that happening.

The good news is that in about three months, the Dave Bautista movie will head to DVD and Blu-ray. You’ll also be able to get it on Digital, which is where Amazon Video comes into play. You’ll be able to buy and later rent the movie.

My Spy stars Bautista and Chloe Coleman. Coleman is a nine-year-old girl who finds out a CIA operative (Bautista) is spying on her family. In return for not blowing his cover, she wants to learn what it takes to be an operative.

Like A Quiet Place II and Mulan, the movie isn’t going to premiere this month anymore. It will be interesting to see if the April release date will encourage more people to see it after the praise for LGBTQ+ representation.
