Saturday Night Live is on a brief hiatus but will return with an Amazon Original star. Jack Ryan‘s John Krasinski is making his debut on the skit comedy series. When will he host SNL?
We’ll have to wait until the end of the month. Krasinski will take to the stage on Mar. 28. It was certainly a surprise for many, but it was only a surprise in a good way. After all, we’ve wanted Krasinski to host for a long time, right?

While he’s currently known for Jack Ryan, he’s extremely well-known and loved for his role as Jim in The Office for all nine seasons. We got to see major development for the character throughout the show’s run but also got to see a huge development in Krasinski as an actor with his change from comedy to drama.
It’s going to be exciting to see him step back into the comedic setting. The question is whether there will be any Jack Ryan skits. It only seems like there should be considering there was a skit with Mrs. Maisel when Rachel Brosnahan hosted Saturday Night Live.
There may also be a focus on The Quiet Place II, which will make it to theaters on Mar. 20. While John Krasinski isn’t in this movie, he was still involved in the writing and directing of it. Plus, his wife, Emily Blunt, is still the lead actress in the second movie.

Naturally, we also hope that there is a skit involving The Office. It only seems fitting that there will be a skit from the series that arguably made him a household name.
